At the end of the day staff members enter Medical Tests,
referrals, next scheduled appointment, etc., into the office copy of
IBS Analysis for Professionals. Using 'Internet Data Storage',
these entries, ( as well as all the patient's other data ), are
immediately visible to you at home or travelling on your home or
laptop copy of 'IBS Analysis for Professionals'. ( Level
Healthware permits multiple installations of one purchased copy
of 'IBS Analysis for Professionals to encourage use of 'Internet
Data Storage', as long as each copy is dealing with the same
set of patients.)
They will also be visible to the other professionals using 'IBS
Analysis for Professionals' whom the patient is seeing... a
Nutritionist, Home Nurse, Gynecologist, Obstetrician,
Cardiologist, etc....and their' entries will be visible to you, too. No
more guessing what prescriptions your patient's other care
givers are prescribing. You will be a team. ( The other
professionals use of IBS Analysis for Professionals and
Internet Data Storage will be initiated by the patient, although
perhaps at your request. )
You can see the diet prescribed by the Nutritionist, track the
pregnancy with the Obstetrician, control the hypertension in
coordination with the Cardiologist. No more conflicting
prescriptions or relying on the patient's memory as to what
medications they are taking via their other physicians.
All these entries may be viewed as a text file, in either forward or
reversed time order. They also appear as 'dots' on the timeline of
the patient's graph of IBS Symptom Severity Levels and Daily
Controls data. Clicking on the dot pops up the entry. Their
position on the timeline gives opportunity to verify the
effectiveness of prescriptions by noting the data subsequent to it,
or the cause of a positive Medical Test by noting the data prior to
