The Modal Day Graph coalesces all your Symptom Severity Levels readings for the selected date range as if they all occurred on the same day. That day, though not a real day, is called the Modal Day for that date range. You get to see all your readings for the date range concentrating only on the Time of Day the readings occurred. The Time of Day is graphed against the Symptom Severity Levels value, the date of the reading is ignored. This gives you the opportunity to see your 'mornings', or 'afternoons', etc. for this entire date range. The Modal Day graph is also a powerful illustrator of a 'Daily Controls Profile'. The Modal Day Graph, besides its usefulness to illustrate your Symptom Severity Readings against the Time Of Day,
is a powerful evaluator of a ' 'Daily Controls Profile'. A 'Daily Controls Profile' selects only days your behavior
matches a 'profile' you specify, such as 'high exercise and low calories', or another profile might be 'slept more
than 8 hours and worked less than 9 hours'. Endless combinations of your 72 'behavior controls' can be tried.

As everywhere in IBS Analysis you can restrict the
range of Symptom Severity Levels to view, the days of
the week, the times of day, and your choice of various
Events and Numerical data that you entered along with
the Symptom Severity Levels value.
You can further graph only the "High', or 'Low' reading
for each day instead of 'all' the readings as above.
